Once a week, Kirk and I have “fun night” for supper. It could be French bread pizzas and tater tots, sloppy joes, or tacos. Here’s the thing… I am super messy with tacos, and after one bite it turns into taco salad anyway, so tonight we enjoyed taco salad for “fun night.”
TACO SALAD
When browning the ground beef for the taco meat, I always add onion and garlic as well as a pinch of salt and pepper. I like to put the hot taco meat on top of the greens. It wilts them slightly and warms them through.
Top with all of your favorite taco and salad toppings. You’re only limited by your imagination!
Prepare the taco meat as the taco season packet instructs, then build a pretty salad! It makes taco night a little less messy, but still a great meal for “fun night.”
