Chili

When it comes to comfort food on a cold day like we’ve had this week, nothing beats chili. This super simple recipe puts chili at your fingertips in no time!

1 packet of chili seasoning

1 lb ground beef

1 14 ½ oz can of your favorite bean for chili (I used kidney beans)

1 8 oz can of your favorite diced tomatoes

1 8 oz can of tomato sauce

½ small onion, diced

  • You could totally add diced bell peppers or jalapeños if you wanted to!

Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat. Add the other ingredients to combine and simmer for 15 minutes.

Optional Toppings: shredded cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, sliced jalapeños
