Pear Tart

Ingredients:

1 sheet of puff pastry

6 small pears or 4 large pears

2 tablespoons of honey or apricot jam

2 tablespoons of water

Instructions:

Use a fork to poke holes in the puff pastry. This keeps it from puffing too much.

Slice the pears and arrange on top of the puff pastry.

Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Check after 20 minutes and pull out when the crust is your desired level of brown.

Microwave the honey or apricot jam and water just long enough to thin it out, about 15 seconds.

Brush the top of the pears with the mixture to make it shiny.
